HPIO Releases Policy Brief Concerning the American Health Care Act

Last month, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the American Health Care Act (AHCA), a bill that is often referred to as a “repeal and replace” plan for the Affordable Care Act (ACA), but actually leaves many of the decisions to alter the ACA in the hands of states. The bill now resides in the Senate.

The Health Policy Institute of Ohio (HPIO) has released its latest policy brief, “State policy options in the American Health Care Act,” and highlights some of the areas in which Ohio policymakers will encounter new decision points.
