New AMA Resource Helps Physicians Meet DEA Training Requirements

The American Medical Association has introduced a new resource on the AMA Ed Hub™ to assist physicians and practitioners in fulfilling the new training requirement issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration. The training focuses on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders and consists of an eight-hour program. The AMA's resource page aims to streamline the process and provide a convenient platform for DEA-registered physicians and practitioners to earn the necessary Continuing Medical Education credits.
