Legal Issues Seminar

Through the generous support of the Academy of Medicine Education Foundation (AMEF) and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland & Northern Ohio (AMCNO) is proud to co-sponsor a yearly seminar addressing legal issues of importance to physicians.  These yearly seminars cover such topics expert witness testimony, HIPAA regulations, electronic medical record issues, social media usage, medical liability case reviews, affidavit of merit issues, how to deal with a medical liability claim, how to apologize to a patient and many other medical/legal related topics.  This session is always very well attended and provides valuable insights for physicians and residents.
