Third Party Payer

The Academy of Medicine of Cleveland & Northern Oho (AMCNO) “Solving the Third Party Payer Puzzle” Seminar is now in its’ 28th year.  This excellent program was the first of its kind in the state, bringing together representatives from various payers to provide input and comments on up-to-the-minute changes and issues from the health insurance companies.  This annual event is well attended and a great venue to bring together physicians and office staff to get the “latest news” from the third party payers that operate in the Northern Ohio area. Presentations include things such as new initiatives, changes to existing programs, and technology enhancements under review by private payers as well as Medicaid and Medicare.

This seminar brings together speakers representing Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, CIGNA HealthCare, Medicaid (Ohio Dept. of Job & Family Services), Medical Mutual of Ohio, Medicare (CGS LLC) and UnitedHealthcare.   The seminar is hosted by the AMCNO at our offices in Independence in November of each year.
