AMCNO attended National Night Out events in the City of Cleveland last week, distributing gun safes to community members. 1,215 safes have so far been distributed in the region as part of our safe storage effort.
Cuyahoga County Council hasunanimously approved a resolution to place a renewal and increase of the Health and Human Services levy on the November ballot.

From Columbus

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reports another week of ‘significant’ increases in cyclosporiasis cases.
ODH is also reporting its third measles outbreak of the year, after three infected people were found in Ashtabula County and one in Tuscarawas County
According to new projections from healthcare consulting firm Manatt, Ohio is expected to see its Medicaid enrollment drop by 305,000, or 10%, by 2028 because of the work requirements.

The Senate version of the Continuing Resolution, which had been moving forward with the proposed changes to grant rules proposed by the Office of Management and Budget has stalled. Members of Congress have cited the volume of public comments received as they raised concerns about the proposed overhaul to federal grantmaking. Read the AMCNO's comment letter.
